Access & Safety

Route notes are historical. They help you understand terrain and access patterns, but they do not tell you what is safe today.

Before every trip:

Check avalanche advisories, mountain weather, road status, DOC alerts, private-land permissions, ski-area uphill rules, and group capability.

What the rebuild should improve

Every route should clearly separate evergreen geography from time-sensitive conditions. Access sensitivity, glacier travel, mobile coverage, and required equipment should be visible before the narrative.

Editorial principle

Keep the local voice. Add structure around it. The site should make judgement easier without pretending a static page can replace current field information.
